[ On Jon's bed are three sets of new clothes, two pairs of shoes, a set of pencils, and a notebook. Two pencils, one blue and one red, have been neatly embossed with a small S shield near the eraser tip. It looks suspiciously like it's been done with heat vision.
He also left a note: For Jon, from Lois and Clark. ]
[ Jon lets out a whoop as he assesses the clothes and shoes. He probably should find a pair of fake glasses too. He lost his on the way to Riverview. Maybe that's something he could ask his father. ]
Thanks dad <3 Would you know where to get fake glasses for me?
Both sets of parents I've had have wanted me to be safe. My birth parents sent me away so that I'd live; and my adoptive parents tried to stop me from using my powers outside the house so I'd fit in and seem 'normal.'
( It didn't work out all that well in the beginning. )
One time, I took Alex--my sister--flying. We got caught. Alex got the brunt of the punishment, which I didn't think was fair. So, I stopped doing it. Because she didn't deserve to get in trouble for my mistakes.
I didn't like it, either. Staying on the ground. I get where you're coming from, there.
[He'll find delivered: An assortment of Funtom sweets A note:]
I apologize for how oddly I behaved. All of my memories of the past three and a half years were stolen away, leaving me in a state from a rather traumatic period. I hope this starts to make up for it.
[Early on the second day of Hygge, a small box will be delivered. There's no distinct markings except the careful handwriting of a certain young Englishman. Inside is a plush bunny, it's fur incredibly soft and the doll incredibly huggable.
His bear holds a little shield]
I hope you'll join me at my home to celebrate the holiday. There will be cocoa and a warm fire. I wasn't sure how to customize your Bitter Rabbit but we can think of something, I'm sure! ~Ciel Phantomhive
[After his brothers are gone and it's just them in the house again. Damin picks up his device, because he remembers what Jon said about personal space and might be trying not to barge into the boy’s room as much anymore.]

I can press it for you so you know what it sounds like.

Re: [ text ]
Yes, sir. It'll help.
You've got a lot of friends, dad.

[ And deep down, Jon will never lose that fear. That the Justice League will come and take him away. That ultimately, Jon is an aberration. ]
I wish I had a sibling. It'd be nice to know someone like me.
